The Division of Student Affairs has a Sustainability Committee that advises VP Council and leads strategic planning efforts related to sustainability from an environmental, social, and economic lens. The Division also has a number of sustainability initiatives that engage, support, and challenge students and employees to get involved, learn more about sustainability, and explore how sustainability supports our mission.

Rams Against Hunger
Offering a menu of services that support students, faculty and staff experiencing food insecurity, Rams Against Hunger services include a food pantry, a meal-swipe program, pocket pantries, and in-person assistance with navigating federal aid eligibility.
Composting Initiatives
In partnership with Facilities Management and the student-led Zero Waste Team, the Division of Student Affairs hosts a number of composting programs within campus housing and campus dining facilities as well as offices and programs throughout the Division.

The CSU Zero Waste Team is a student-led group enthusiastic about reducing waste on campus through outreach and education. The team provides waste diversion services (including composting and recycling sorting) and hosts upcycling events.
